Local Parks and Recreation 

Van Buren County has numerous locations for outdoor activities spread throughout the county.  Here are a few of the local parks and recreation locations inside the City of Spencer that are perfect for family outings and weekend trips to visit the area.

City Park

The Spencer City Park contains a playground, several pavilions with picnic tables, a basketball court and walking trail.

Ampitheater

Amphitheater and gazebos near town square.  Perfect for evenings watching the sunset behind the courthouse.  Check back for a calendar of events this summer!
